Robust and durable hay bag made of 1200 denier polyester that is waterproof and breathable. The opening is securely closed with a Velcro flap to prevent the hay from overflowing and thus reduce waste. Adjustable straps with clips for easy hanging. Narrow mesh bottom to allow dirt and dust to fall out.

We have selected only the highest quality materials for the pillows and bags. All variants are made with TPU, tested nylon and stainless steel press studs.
Why exactly these Materials and no others? I'll tell you here:
TPU 0.65mm compared to PVC: TPU is more abrasion-resistant, more environmentally friendly and less sensitive to temperature. (PVC can become more brittle and cracked, especially in winter).
Nylon: There are many nylon imitations that are indistinguishable from the others. However, almost all imitations have toxic ingredients. Ours does not.
Stainless steel: Do not rust
Why did we choose buttons?
I have gone through all the possibilities...
-> Velcro is not good because hay gets stuck in it...
-> Buttons are not good because, especially in winter, it can be very tedious to have to press them through a hole...
-> zip fastener not good, because if one is broken, you can probably bucket the bag...
-> TOP press studs. Easy to open and close, according to our tests they never opened when they shouldn't and if one is broken, everyone should be able to replace it.

Further facts:
-> No empty chewing, as is the case with very close-meshed hay nets.
-> Keeps the horses busy and thus promotes general satisfaction.
-> Natural feeding position. Most hay racks are too high. This low feeding height encourages the back to "open" over several hours of feed intake.
-> Eating times are extended. Of course not as blatant as with the very close-meshed nets, but you can also stretch the rations with hay or nibble branches, which adds value to the ration, depending on the branches selected.
