xoStats is our in-house visitor analytics tool. It runs on our server; the data remains with us and is not shared with third parties. It allows us to see how many people visit the store and which pages they view.

Data Controller: We, as the operator of this store.

Data processed: Session ID, IP address, referring page, pages visited, as well as screen resolution, color depth, and whether Java is enabled. Your customer number is processed only if you have given your consent.

Technology used: A tracking pixel and JavaScript.

Retention period: According to the period we have set; by default, one year.

Legal basis and revocation: Your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and § 25(1) of the TDDDG. You may revoke your consent at any time in the cookie settings with future effect.

Google Analytics shows us how our shop is used: which pages are viewed, where visitors stop, and which items are of interest. We use this to improve the shop.

Processing company: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland

Data processed: Pages viewed and events triggered, approximate location, device and browser details and a pseudonymous identifier. If you place an order, also the order value and the items ordered.

Technology used: Cookies and JavaScript.

Storage period: Cookies for up to two years; how long the reports are kept depends on the setting in our Google account.

Legal basis and withdrawal: Your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw it at any time in the cookie settings, with effect for the future.

Data transfer to the USA: Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses apply in addition.

We use Google Ads to show you targeted and personalized ads on Google and the Google Display Network. The content of the ads should be as relevant to you as possible. To achieve this, we share some of your interactions with our platform with Google Ads. This includes, for example, information that you have viewed a specific page. This allows us to target you with Google ads featuring content based on your recent interactions. In addition, we share information with Google Ads regarding your recent orders. This not only enables us to optimize our campaigns but also provides us with insights into how we can improve our advertising.

The United States is a country that, under EU Regulation 2016/679, does not provide adequate protection for personal data. Among other things, this means that U.S. authorities may have the right to access your data without effective legal remedies being available.

Retention period: The data is stored for as long as it is needed for the specified processing purposes. Google Ads cookies have a lifespan of up to 2 years. Once a cookie’s lifespan has expired, your browser automatically deletes it. All shared data is stored by Google Ads for 9 months, while we store some of the information about your interactions with our ads on Google Ads for up to 3 years.

We use OpenAI Ads' tracking pixel to measure whether an advertisement in ChatGPT led to a product inquiry or an order.

Data processor: OpenAI Ireland Limited, 1st Floor, The Liffey Trust Centre, 117-126 Sheriff Street Upper, Dublin 1, D01 YC43, Ireland

Data processed: page visited and referring page (URL without parameters), items viewed (item number, name), order (order number, order value, items, quantity, price), click ID from the ad, a random browser ID, IP address, and browser information. Additionally, contact information displayed on the page or entered by the user (email address, phone number, first and last name), which are anonymized (hashed) in the browser before transmission, as well as location data (country, city, region, ZIP code), so that OpenAI can match orders to the ads.

Technology used: JavaScript, cookies (__oppref, __obref, __oaiq_consent), and an entry in the browser’s local storage (oaiq_consent).

Retention period: __oppref 30 days, __obref 365 days, __oaiq_consent 30 days; the entry in local storage remains until revoked.

Third Country: Transfer to the U.S. is possible; this is based on the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
