Baucher Bit, Stainless Steel, Single-Jaw, 12.5 cm

Stübben

Size of the bit
12.5 cm
Thick bridle
16 mm
The belly bit is known for its stable fit in the horse’s mouth. The side shanks ensure that the bit sits calmly and evenly, resulting in a consistent connection between the rider’s hand and the horse. When the reins are taken up, the Baucher bit tilts and exerts pressure toward the corners of the mouth, which can lead to better straightness.

The single-jointed mouthpiece sits more comfortably in the mouth than a double-jointed one and distributes pressure across the horse’s cheeks, while the center joint reduces pressure on the tongue.

Advantages of the BAUCHER bridle:
  • The Baucher bridle is ideal for dressage
  • It offers the perfect transition from a snaffle bit to a curb bit
  • Simultaneous, measured influence on the horse’s mouth and neck

Stübben Steeltec quality:
  • No sharp edges that could injure the horse’s mouth
  • Long-lasting durability thanks to carefully selected materials
  • Special manufacturing techniques minimize wear on the bit’s hinge joints
