To Maintain a Healthy Stomach
Stomach ulcers are a common problem in foals and sport horses. Up to 90% of racehorses are affected, and about 60% of other sport horses. They even occur in leisure horses.
A decline in performance, a dull coat, poor feed intake, colic, or constant chewing are signs of stomach ulcers. The most common stressors include weaning, auction preparations, conditioning training, competition, transport, and group housing or low social status among the animals.
Tasty and easy to feed
Feeding recommendation:
Horses:
2–4 scoops with meals, or 80–160 g per day.
For horses extremely prone to stomach ulcers, up to 6 scoops per day, including 1–2 scoops before work.
In cases of extreme susceptibility, we also recommend adjusting the feeding regimen.
Foals during weaning:
1–2 spoonfuls per day
