Our Swedish-style Mia bridle is our most popular dressage bridle! It’s made of very high-quality leather. This leather is known for its excellent durability and sturdiness during daily use. The headband features screw-mounted rhinestones in various sizes, ensuring that each stone stays securely in place for a long time. The headpiece and noseband are softly padded and conform perfectly to the horse’s head. The noseband is wrap-around, requiring fewer buckles. The noseband tapers toward the sides to relieve additional pressure on the lateral nerve pathways.

Usage of the Mia bit, Swedish-combined
Similar to a Hanoverian noseband, a Swedish-combination bridle keeps the horse’s mouth closed. When fastened correctly, the horse’s mouth is kept closed by the stop strap, thereby stabilizing the bit in the horse’s mouth. If the noseband is not pulled too tightly, the horse’s breathing and nerve pathways are not impaired. Unlike an English-style combined bridle, the Swedish version features a pulley at the back of the noseband. Swedish-style combined bridles are most commonly used with curb bits and dressage bits.
The Mia snaffle bit is very well suited for daily use. The stones on the headband are set much more securely than on conventional snaffle bits. The extra-wide noseband ensures perfect elegance during dressage.
