The outer material, made of 1800D fabric, is extremely robust, tear-resistant, and therefore exceptionally durable. The new EcoElite™ Teflon coating on the outer shell makes this blanket wonderfully dirt-repellent, waterproof, and highly breathable. The comfortably soft inner lining made of 210-denier polyester fabric and the 100g filling make this blanket the ideal winter blanket. The blanket features a removable neck flap and is also liner-compatible. The WeatherBeeta Cozi-Guard provides unbeatable protection at the chest, while the generous memory foam withers pad—which conforms to the horse’s shape—lifts the blanket slightly at the withers to reduce chafing and provide additional comfort. The inserts on the tail flap and the reflective side panels ensure optimal visibility, even at dusk.
Fastening
The double front closure is fully adjustable and features the Twist n’ Lock system and Touch-Tape fasteners; this closure system is also found on the cross surcingles and provides additional security. Furthermore, the blanket features removable, elastic, adjustable, and padded leg straps. The blanket is equipped with wide Velcro strips in the neck area to which the neck piece is attached. It is secured with two wide, elastic Velcro fasteners featuring a flap.
