Carbon Gel Vento is a gaiter developed in collaboration with Marcus Ehning that provides dual ventilation. Heat emitted by the horse’s leg passes through the layer of micro-perforated neoprene and is then distributed throughout the channels of the 3D mesh fabric. Fresh air enters through the ventilation opening and carries the heat upward to the exhaust grille. Ventilation thus occurs both horizontally and vertically. Protection for the tendons is provided by the carbon in combination with a shock-absorbing film made of Nitrex gel. The inner lining, made of faux fur—a synthetic material containing no animal-derived substances—offers the horse exceptional comfort and is also aesthetically pleasing.
