The Equi-Soft® Saddle Girth: Maximum Freedom of Movement and Breathing for Your Horse

The Equi-Soft® girth is an innovation for horses and riders that offers a unique combination of benefits:
  • Elastic rings: The girth’s elastic rings expand and contract to allow the horse’s chest to move freely.
  • Even Pressure Distribution: The girth features an ergonomic shape and a fan-like design to ensure even pressure distribution and reduce girth pressure.
  • Stress reduction: The elastic rings reduce girth pressure and the horse’s stress levels.
  • Lower heart rate: A scientific study shows that horses using this girth have a lower heart rate.

Color and Size Options: The Equi-Soft saddle girth is available in the leather colors black, ebony, and tobacco. For the short girth, we offer sizes ranging from 40 cm to 85 cm, while the long girth is available in sizes from 100 cm to 150 cm. It is recommended that you use your horse’s regular girth length.

Important Note: To use the Equi-Soft girth correctly, it is important to ensure that the pad is positioned correctly on the girth and that the holes are unobstructed. The center of the girth should be positioned centrally on the horse’s girth line. Even tension on both sides is recommended to ensure optimal pressure distribution. The girth should not be tightened too much, as this could restrict the expansion of the chest. The Equi-Soft saddle girth should only be used in combination with the matching Equi-Soft pad. For show jumping, the Equi-Soft stud-protection girth should be used.
