3-Ring Quick Contact Bit, Sweet Cooper, Double-Jointed

Stübben

Thick bridle
16 mm
This bit is frequently used in show jumping and eventing because—depending on how it is laced—it provides greater leverage. This allows the rider to apply pressure to the horse’s mouth and neck. The 2.5-ring snaffle bit offers various fastening options that allow for individual pressure distribution and different effects on the horse’s neck and mouth. The continuous rings ensure that the anatomical mouthpiece is always positioned neutrally and rests gently in the horse’s mouth.
The double-jointed Level 3 mouthpiece is shaped to exert more direct pressure on the horse’s cheeks. The center piece rests evenly on the horse’s tongue. This allows for quicker execution of one-sided half-halts in particular. Thanks to the continuous rings, the bit consistently returns to a neutral position in the horse’s mouth. The SWEET Copper mouthpiece has a slightly sweet taste and is particularly well-accepted by horses; it can also encourage the horse to take the bit.
