The FREEJUMP cartridge is available in three capacities that perfectly match your FREEJUMP AIRBAG size: 50cc for children’s sizes S and L, 60cc for sizes XXS, XS, XST, S, ST, M, MT, and L, and 85cc for sizes LT, XL, and XXL. Be sure to select the correct capacity to ensure optimal activation of your airbag.

Not all cartridges are the same.

FREEJUMP airbag vests (as well as the models manufactured by FREEJUMP on behalf of the Pénélope and Equithème brands) are certified to the NF S 72 800:2022 standard. Therefore, only FREEJUMP cartridges are approved for use with these airbags.

We require the use of FREEJUMP cartridges for our airbags to ensure their proper functioning and your safety.

The characteristics of the cartridges are crucial for effective inflation. The quality of the seal (operkel) is particularly important here. If it is too thick, it will be difficult to pierce, and the outlet for the CO₂ will be too small, which slows down the gas release and thus the inflation speed of the airbag.

The inflation speed of FREEJUMP airbags—between 80 ms and 130 ms, depending on size—is among the fastest on the market. This is due to many factors, particularly the quality of the cartridge operkel’s opening, which plays a central role.

FREEJUMP cartridges are manufactured in Austria or, where applicable, in Japan. They are never manufactured in China or other Asian countries, as our tests have shown that the quality of cartridges produced there is insufficient to ensure the optimal operation of our airbags.

The reliable operation of airbags manufactured by FREEJUMP and your safety can only be ensured by using our certified cartridges.
