Optibeets, 20 kg

Optibeets, which swell rapidly when exposed to water, are made from desugared and broken-down beet pulp. The non-lignified plant cells provide an ideal, high-quality feed for horses and deliver approximately the same amount of digestible energy as grain flakes.

This gentle form of energy from highly digestible crude fiber does not make horses hyperactive. Optibeets can be fed to any horse. Since it does not contain carbohydrates of the type found in grain flakes, Optibeets can also be used in cases of Cushing’s disease, laminitis, tying up, etc.

The extremely low glycemic response also makes Optibeets an ideal feed for endurance horses.

• Highly caloric—for training and competition
• Electrolyte and water reservoir
• Ideal for endurance
• For young horses (fewer joint problems, OCD, etc.)
• Sales prepping (preparation for sale or auction)
• Low in carbohydrates and therefore suitable for horses with tying-up issues (PSSM) or metabolic syndrome
• Suitable for HYPP (Hyperkalemic Periodic Paralysis) because the potassium content is very low (<1%)
• For “hot-blooded” horses
• Ideal for fattening up underweight and/or older horses
• Extremely effective when used in combination with Preventer for treating stomach ulcers and copper poisoning
