Iron Eggebut Eliptical Olive-Head Bit, 16 mm, double-jointed, 13.5 cm

When exposed to (air) moisture, Sweet Iron develops a surface patina that tastes sweet and naturally stimulates saliva production. This causes the horse to foam more, which in turn helps it accept the bit more readily. 

Due to the shape of the Sweet Iron olive-head bit, it is particularly well-suited for working with young horses. With slight pressure on the reins, the cap alters the position of the mouthpiece in the horse’s mouth. Thanks to the particularly natural design of the Sweet Iron olive-head snaffle, you gain greater control over your horse’s palate and tongue. 

A bit with smaller rings has a slightly firmer effect than one with larger rings. Thanks to the different hardness levels of the mouthpiece, an olive-head bit can be used for almost any horse.
