Olive-head bridles are ideal for horses with sensitive corners of the mouth, as they prevent the lips from getting pinched. The rings attached to the mouthpiece ensure that the bit sits securely in the mouth. This prevents the bit from slipping, allowing the KK ULTRA mouthpiece to act on the tongue from a central position.

Double-jointed bits in which the olive-shaped center piece—compared to conventional bits—is shortened and angled forward at 45°. Only at this angle does the center piece rest particularly gently on the tongue. These bits therefore allow for a trusting contact and very subtle rein action.
The innovative KK ULTRA bits utilize the tongue’s sense of touch, which functions with similar sensitivity in horses as it does in humans. The tongue is a highly sensitive sensory organ and amplifies the signals transmitted to the horse’s mouth through the rider’s rein aids. When the reins are applied, the center piece of the KK ULTRA bits rests firmly on the tongue without squeezing it or exerting pressure on the palate or the sides of the mouth. The connecting rings to the center piece roll over the tongue. The new positioning of the center piece and the side parts of the bit enhances the tactile sensation of the tongue. The rider’s
rein aids are transmitted more precisely and sensitively to the horse’s mouth. The KK ULTRA bits ensure an incomparably sensitive contact between rider and horse.
