Water snaffle bit, double-jointed, stainless steel, 12.5 cm

Stübben

Size of the bit
12.5 cm
Thick bridle
16 mm

Advantages of the double-jointed bit:
  • No uncomfortable pressure on the palate • Even and comfortable distribution of rein pressure across the tongue and bars
  • Better acceptance
  • No “nutcracker” effect
  • Facilitates communication between horse and rider

Advantages of the rings:
  • The movable rings on the water snaffle automatically position the bit correctly in the horse’s mouth when the reins are applied.
  • The free-moving rings allow the horse to slightly adjust the position of the bit in its mouth on its own, which stimulates chewing and leads to better acceptance.
  • For young horses, as well as for inexperienced riders, the water snaffle should always be the first choice.

Stübben STEELtec Quality:
  • No sharp edges that could injure the horse’s mouth
  • Long-lasting durability thanks to carefully selected materials
  • Special manufacturing techniques minimize wear on the ring holes and joint connections of the bits
