PAWS&PATCH’s Garden Menu No. 1 was developed in collaboration with animal nutrition experts and is an ideal side dish for homemade meals, BARF diets, or a light diet. The meal can also be used as a supplement to dry or wet food. In addition to select dried vegetables, rice, and fruit, the mix also contains herbs and “superfoods.” 

The meal is naturally rich in fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins, nutrients, and trace elements. All ingredients are finely chopped. Thanks to its ideal blend ratio, the meal is highly palatable to dogs. 

Very economical—one package is equivalent to approximately 2 kg of freshly prepared vegetables, rice, fruit, and herbs. 

VEGETABLES & RICE
PAWS&PATCH rice flakes are harvested in Italy and are rich in fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins, nutrients, and trace elements. They are pre-cooked, rolled, and dried, and are easy to use thanks to their quick rehydration time. The carrot and zucchini flakes used in the recipe come from European farms. Zucchini are rich in vitamins and minerals. They are easy to digest and low in calories, making them a popular vegetable side dish. Carrots are naturally rich in beta-carotene, vitamin A, pectin, and minerals. The gently steam-cooked carrot flakes are a gluten-free vegetable side dish that dogs find very palatable. 

FRUIT
The apple is one of the most popular types of fruit in Europe. Apples contain many vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals (polyphenols). The phytochemicals that apples use to protect themselves from insects and fungal infections are antioxidants. Antioxidants are important for supporting cell health. Apples are particularly rich in vitamin C, biotin, vitamin K, and vitamin A. Among other things, biotin supports normal metabolism and is essential for healthy coat and claws. 

HERBS & SUPERFOODS
Parsley is naturally rich in vitamins A, C, and K, as well as minerals such as potassium, calcium, and iron, which can contribute to a dog’s vitality. Parsley also has a mild flavor and is easily digestible. It supports normal gastrointestinal function. Pollen is naturally rich in vitamins and minerals. It supports the immune system and provides nutritional support for muscles and bones. Pollen also supports normal gastrointestinal function. Thanks to the hand-selected, specially formulated individual ingredients and the perfect blend ratio, this meal is highly palatable to dogs. 

ORIGIN AND PROCESSING
Many vegetable products for pets available on the market are imported from Asia and are often processed with sugar. Only vegetables, rice, fruit, and herbs from European farms are used to produce the PAWS&PATCH Garden Menu No. 1. Processing also takes place entirely in Europe. The vegetables, rice, and fruit are peeled, finely chopped, and pre-cooked (this preparation reduces the soaking time when preparing the meal at home). For pets with sensitive stomachs, the mixture can also be pureed after soaking.

Note: Analyses of natural products are subject to natural variations. 

Feeding recommendation: Soak the mixture in hot water for 10 minutes. Use a 2:1 ratio of water to flakes. After the mixture has swollen, let it cool and add it to the meat. If necessary, the mixture can be pureed for better digestibility. 1 tablespoon is approximately 5 g of the mixture. 5 g of the dried mixture is approximately 20 g of the swollen mixture. 

FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DOGS
The total daily ration depends on the dog’s weight and activity level: A total of 20–40 g of food (meat and vegetables) per kg of body weight per day Recommended Ration Breakdown Puppies: approx. 80% meat and 20% garden mix (soaked) Adult dogs: approx. 65% meat and 35% garden mix (soaked) Senior dogs: approx. 50% meat and 50% garden mix (soaked) The general feeding recommendations are intended as guidelines. These may vary slightly depending on the animal’s age, breed, diet, or activity level.
