  • Dandelion

PAWS&PATCH’s Garden Menu No. 2 was developed in collaboration with animal nutrition experts and is an ideal side dish for homemade meals, BARF meals, or a light diet. The meal can also be used as a supplement to dry or wet food. In addition to select dried vegetables, the mix also contains herbs and “superfoods.”
The meal is naturally rich in fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins, nutrients, and trace elements. All ingredients are finely chopped. Thanks to the ideal blend ratio, the meal is highly palatable to dogs.
Very economical—one package is equivalent to approximately 2 kg of freshly prepared vegetables and herbs.
VEGETABLES:
Beets are low in calories and naturally rich in vitamins and minerals. Pumpkin is naturally rich in nutrients and vitamins, as well as high in fiber and low in calories. Parsnips are rich in vitamins and fiber and are considered a “white power root.” The parsnip and pumpkin flakes, as well as the beet strips, are gently processed, making them an easily digestible vegetable side dish that dogs find very palatable. Garden Menu No. 2 is also suitable for sensitive dogs due to its ingredients.
HERBS & SUPERFOODS
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) has been used as a medicinal plant for thousands of years. Fennel belongs to the umbrella family (Apiaceae) and is closely related to anise, caraway, and dill. Fennel generally grows as a biennial or perennial herb with a highly branched stem, reaching a height of 120–200 cm. Fennel is naturally rich in vitamins A, K, and E, folic acid, and beta-carotene, as well as the minerals iron and potassium. Fennel also contains essential oil, which supports normal gastrointestinal function. Sage (Salvia officinalis) is derived from the Latin word “salvus,” which means “healthy” or “saving.” In the Middle Ages, monks grew sage in their monastery gardens, and it was often used in herbal teas and ointments. Furthermore, sage was regarded as a symbol of wisdom and virtue. Dried sage leaves provide valuable antioxidants, as well as calcium, potassium, iron, and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. In addition to supporting normal gastrointestinal function and providing general support for the immune system, sage leaves can also be used for skin and coat care. Dandelion (Taraxacum sect. Ruderalia) belongs to the Asteraceae family. Dandelion is a spring herb and is a common wild plant in Central Europe, found in meadows, along roadsides, and in gardens. Dandelion was already known as a medicinal plant in Roman times. Dandelion is naturally rich in potassium, calcium, and dietary fiber. Calcium supports normal digestive function and provides nutritional support for the muscles. In addition, dandelion is rich in bitter compounds. These stimulate increased production of saliva, stomach acid, and digestive hormones and enzymes.

ORIGIN AND PROCESSING
Many vegetable products for pets available on the market are imported from Asia and are often processed with sugar. Only vegetables and herbs from European farms are used to produce the PAWS&PATCH Garden Menu No. 2. The entire processing takes place in Europe. The vegetables are peeled, finely chopped, and pre-cooked (this preparation reduces the soaking time when preparing the meal at home). For pets with sensitive stomachs, the mixture can also be pureed after soaking.

100% NATURAL
All individual ingredients are derived from fresh, natural vegetables and herbs. They are free of artificial flavors, additives, and added sugar. Thanks to the drying and processing, they have a long shelf life and are easy to use. The multi-step production process ensures that important nutrients and the natural flavor are preserved.
