The feeding amounts given are guidelines. The exact amount depends on the breed and activity of the dog.
Young dogs
Growing dogs receive 5-8% of their body weight daily. Smaller breeds should be fed 8% and larger breeds 5% of their body weight.
Adult dogs
Adult dogs of small breeds are fed 4-6% and dogs of large breeds 3-4% of their body weight daily.
Seniors
Dogs of advanced age are fed 2-3% of their body weight daily.
Important: a healthy adult dog should always be fed at least 2% of its body weight daily to cover its needs.
For all dogs, start with the lowest amount, as adding more is much easier than subtracting from the food.
Please always provide enough fresh water.
