Chia seeds BIO for animals, whole
Chia seeds BIO for animals, whole
For the ancient Maya, chia seeds were a staple food and a remedy in one. In the meantime, Europe has also become aware of the "superfood" from Mexico, because the small seeds have what it takes. With their content of antioxidants, calcium, potassium, iron, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, they outshine many other tried and tested foods. Chia seeds are suitable for leisure and sport horses because of their high content of native vital substances (rich in essential amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids, minerals and vitamins) and mucilage in addition to the daily basic supply - especially for older and sick horses.
For horses with digestive problems, horses in the change of coat or for strengthening the immune system and vitalising horses, you will achieve visibly fast results with CHIA seeds. Chia (Salvia hispanica) is a small oval seed of light brown colour, which originally comes from Mexico and whose special composition and condition-promoting properties were already discovered centuries ago by the Aztecs and Indians. For centuries, the nutritious chia seeds were the staple food of the Native Americans, who said it had magical powers.Today, scientific studies have proven how high-quality the seed of this sage species is. Many interesting nutrients are contained in chia seeds. Chia seeds contain a particularly high-quality amino acid spectrum. The oil contained in chia seeds is particularly exceptional, with more than 60 % valuable omega-3 linolenic acid, one of the highest contents in the plant kingdom. Furthermore, chia oil is rich in natural antioxidants, including chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid. Like psyllium and linseed, chia belongs to the mucilage-forming seeds. These seeds are basically rich in mucopolysaccharides, which form a colourless mucus on the surface of the seeds when they come into contact with water, so that the quality and consistency of the faeces can be improved in the case of digestive disorders. This mucilage also promotes the regeneration of the intestinal mucosa and thus reduces the risk of diarrhoea.
Benefits:
- Chia is the largest plant resource of omega-3 fatty acids in the optimal ratio to omega-6 fatty acids of 3:1
- Omega-3 fatty acids promote neurological chemical communication in brain cells and play a positive role in neurological cell fluidity
- Horses in competitive sports also enjoy this effect and also have a stronger and faster muscle build-up due to the high proportion of high-quality proteins with the vital amino acids.
- Clinical studies have proven that the essential fatty acids regulate blood pressure and can offer protection against cardiovascular diseases
- Chia seeds are gluten and cholesterol free and easy to digest
Wear and tear of the joints is always associated with inflammatory processes that can lead to joint swelling and pain. It is therefore likely that the anti-inflammatory properties of omega-3 fatty acids can have a positive effect on the inflammatory processes in the joint. Scientists have found that the omega-3 fatty acids ALA, EPA and DHA in particular also have an effect on the disease process in the joint at the molecular level.

Horse Dynamic BASIC + Mineral
Horse Dynamic BASIC + Mineral
FREY HORSE DYNAMIC BASIC is optimally adapted to the needs of healthy horses that do little work or of undemanding, light-fed breeds with good natural muscling and a well-developed coat. Horse Dynamic BASIC +Mineral excellently covers the nutrient requirements and stabilises the entire physiological condition of blood, bones, teeth and the muscle and nerve tissue. The effect is shown in a short time by increased appetite, joyful willingness to work and a shiny coat. Quantitative elements, trace elements and vitamins are vital for all horses at every stage of performance. The individual active substances have different tasks and target organs. Calcium and phosphorus, the two most important minerals in terms of quantity, influence the stability and function of the bone structure. 99% of calcium and about 80% of phosphorus are deposited in the skeleton. In addition, these elements are also necessary for blood clotting, conduction and energy metabolism in the muscles. When minerals are administered, various interactions can take place that decisively influence the biological value of the individual elements. Minerals from inorganic salts must first be present in the form of ions or bound to organic carriers so that they can be absorbed. The ions released in the stomach can form insoluble complexes that are impassable for the intestinal wall. Phosphorus requirements, for example, are increased by excessive protein feeding due to increased renal P excretion. On the other hand, high iron contents in the ration (contamination of the feed) impair the utilisation of phosphorus, manganese and zinc.
It is therefore useless to increase the amount of a single element without considering the possible interactions. This is because increasing individual elements also increases the risk of interactions between the elements, or the danger of reaching toxic limits is increased. Essential dietary minerals Quantitative elements Trace elements Calcium Iron Phosphorus Zinc Magnesium Copper Potassium Manganese Sodium Cobalt Chlorine Iodine Sulphur Molybdenum Selenium
In order to achieve an optimal supply of active substances in the animal body, the balance of the elements in relation to each other or their bioavailability therefore plays a key role in feed supplementation, in addition to the absolute quantity of the individual elements. Horse Dynamic +Mineral

Due to the special combination, respectively the ratio of the ingredients, they can be optimally absorbed by the body. In contrast to seaweed, the iodine content is very low and therefore an over-supply of iodine is not possible. The microalgae spirulina has a special blue-green colour. Because of the blue pigment it is also called cyanobacterium. Spirulina originates from warm volcanic sinks that contain soda. Nowadays, spirulina is mainly cultivated in aquacultures. The cultivation is generally quite simple. For this reason, the quality and price range of the products found on the market is very wide. The cultivation methods range from industrial cultivation with synthetic fertilisers, pesticides etc. to strictly monitored organic cultivation, and the range of products is correspondingly wide. We only use spirulina that meets the BIO guidelines for organic cultivation! Disclaimer:
