What is oiled leather?Oiled leather is vegetable-tanned and has a natural grain. It is treated with high-quality oils during the tanning process, making it very soft and water- and dirt-repellent. This keeps the leather supple, hard-wearing and easy to care for for a long time.
Care instructions:Remove dirt with a cloth and treat with suitable care products as required. If stored for longer periods, clean thoroughly and store in a bag to protect it from sunlight, dust and moisture.
Caution:Avoid prolonged and direct contact with light-coloured fabrics, permeable surfaces and other leather.

Our Swedish combined bridle Mia is our most popular dressage bridle! It is made of very good quality leather. This leather stands for very good durability and robustness in daily use. The browband has screwed rhinestones in different sizes. Each stone has a clearly durable hold. The headpiece and noseband are softly padded and mould perfectly to the horse's head. The noseband is over-running so that fewer buckles are required. The noseband becomes narrower towards the sides to relieve additional pressure on the lateral nerves.

Use of the Mia bridle, Swedish-combinedSimilar to a Hanoverian noseband, a Swedish combined bridle offers a closed mouth for the horse. When correctly buckled, the horse's mouth is kept closed by the locking strap to stabilise the bit in the horse's mouth. If the noseband is not pulled too tightly, the horse's breathing and nerves are not impaired. Unlike an English combination noseband, the Swedish version has a pulley at the back of the noseband. Swedish combination nosebands are usually used for curb bits and dressage snaffles.The Mia bridle is very suitable for everyday use. The stones on the browband are much firmer than on conventional bridles. The extra width of the noseband ensures perfect elegance during dressage.
