Our best-selling "Klimatex with Velcro" bandage pads are the ideal protection for horses' legs thanks to their thick wadding filling. The soft fleece fabric prevents pressure points and chafing and the longitudinal stitching distributes the pressure of the bandage more evenly over the horse's leg. The special spacer fabric ensures that the bandage pads are breathable. The great thing is that the pads have a Velcro fastening that makes bandaging easier and prevents creasing.

These cooling bandages are one of several products developed after years of laboratory and field testing of the Coolcore material, resulting in an "innovative technology" award from the Hohenstein Institute, recognised worldwide for its market-leading testing systems for the textile industry. The cooling leg wraps provide compression while reducing inflammation, lowering heat and helping to relieve pain. They can be used wet or placed in ice or the freezer for maximum cooling power. 
Application: Wet, wrestle, shake to activate the fibres and before applying or wet and freeze. We recommend placing the wraps in a plastic bag before placing in the freezer up to 1 hour before application. The material stays up to 30% cooler than the horse's leg surface temperature, chemical free with UPF 30+, patented superior drying times
