Hyaluronic acid is a main component of joint fluid and cartilage and is very important for the mobility and gliding ability of the joints. The cartilage needs a sufficient supply of the joint nutrients glucosamine and chondroitin to be able to form hyaluronic acid. Chondroitin and glucosamine help to keep the joints healthy. They stimulate the production of new cartilage cells and synovial fluid. Devil's claw is ideal for horses with stressed joints.
