The double broken olive head snaffle from Trust is made of Sweet Iron.
Sweet Iron develops surface rust through contact with (air) moisture, which tastes sweet and naturally stimulates salivation. This makes the horse lather more, which leads to it accepting the bit better.
The shape of the Sweet Iron olive head snaffle makes the bit particularly suitable when working with young horses. By slightly increasing the pressure on the reins, the cap changes the mouthpiece in the mouth. Because of the particularly natural finish of the Sweet Iron olive head snaffle, you get a greater influence on your horse's palate and tongue.
A bit with smaller rings has a slightly harder effect than a bit with larger rings. An olive head snaffle can be used for almost any horse due to the different hardness of the nozzle.
