The recipe is based on tried and tested original ingredients, but has been consistently developed further. Mash stimulates appetite and digestion and is therefore also an ideal choice for horses that are difficult to feed. Senior horses benefit from the porridge-like consistency. Mash is particularly suitable as a restorative feed for horses after periods of physical and psychological stress. The plus: easy preparation with short swelling time - no cooking required!
Mash is the practical warm meal for all horses to support digestion
marstall Mash is the much-loved meal for horses in special life situations or as an alternative warm treat. Especially in cases of constipation, after worming, operations or birth, as well as during changes in weather, feed changes, during the change of coat or other stressful situations, the administration of mash is recommended and makes sense. The easily digestible mixture stimulates the appetite, the intestinal function and the metabolism and, thanks to polyunsaturated fatty acids, also ensures a beautiful shiny coat.
We have further developed the proven recipe and offer a mash that is free of sugar, molasses, essential oils and preservatives. What's more, we have deliberately avoided adding vitamins and minerals - so our marstall Mash can be combined with any feed ration and veterinary treatment. The ingredients used are all digestive: swelling mucilage from golden linseed has a positive and regenerating effect on the stomach and intestinal mucosa. Pectins from tasty apple pomace, fibre-rich bran and many other components are gentle on the digestive tract. Due to the balanced Ca:P ratio, Mash can also be used as a concentrate substitute. In this case, however, we recommend a mineral supplement such as marstall Force or the stable or pasture bars.
